Heat loss from ground floors is most critical at their perimeter. H+H's range of Foundation Blocks can significantly improve thermal performance and reduce heat loss when used below DPC level.

Designed for foundations and footings, H+H Foundation Blocks are suitable for the support of cavity walls, solid walls and timber-framed construction and their use will reduce the need for additional insulation.

The raw materials used in the production of H+H Foundation Blocks gives them their excellent resistance to sulfate attack and frost damage, thus making them ideal for use below DPC in soil conditions unsuitable for many other types of masonry.

With British Board of Agrément (BBA) approval, having been assessed for their resistance to freeze/thaw conditions, they are deemed suitable for use by the NHBC and have local Authority Building Control (National) type approved certification.
