The British Board of Agrément is a third party approvals organisation partnered with the Government.  Its main role is to evaluate construction products for which no British Standard is normally available and give an opinion on the performance of the products, through Agrément Certificates, nowadays increasingly referred to as BBA Certificates.

These certificates contain information on the compliance of products with Building Regulations throughout the UK as well as details of their performance in key areas including durability.

Assessment involves three distinct areas - laboratory testing (carried out to UKAS requirements), site inspections, undertaken by the BBA's own Inspection Services team, and factory production control.

 All H+H UK products are BBA approved.
