Devon demo attracts Rå House enquiries

Work has started on a project to construct 18 holiday apartments at Dawlish Warren on the South Devon coast. The development is using the H+H Celcon Rå House concept with Celcon Foundation blocks, the Celcon Flooring System and solid walls using 215mm Celcon blocks with the Thin Joint system.  The work is being carried out by recommended Rå House contractor Buildtec South West of Exeter

The use of the Celcon Flooring System has been a great success with 781m² being laid in 3½ days, despite tight access to site.  H+H Celcon invited a number of architects and housebuilders to watch the work underway and many returned again to see the Thin-Joint walls being built.  All were impressed by the speed and quality of the build and the demonstration has already resulted in requests to quote for a number of significant housing projects in the region.
