The range of H+H UK products provides competitively priced, easy-to-use, high performance solutions for all types of applications, including foundations, walls and floors.
1. Foundations
The trend in Housing towards solid foundations growing; Celcon Foundation blocks are commonly used in a range of thicknesses for 255mm to 355mm below DPC level, although other thickness blocks are similarly suitable. The blocks are BBA certified for use below DPC from DS-1 to DS-4 and have LABC National Type Approval they are commonly accepted as a method of build. Further more detailed information on Celcon Foundation blocks including non-stocked block thicknesses is contained in the information below.

2. Beam and block floors
Celcon blocks can be used as the infill material for conventional beam-and-block floors in dwellings at both ground and upper floor levels.

3. Flooring System
The Flooring System using precast reinforced aircrete elements create a strong, robust floor that is very quick to install, and can reduce both the time on site and the cost of the installed floor with all the benefits of a suspended floor but with all the attributes of aircrete.

4. Walls
Celcon blocks are not confined to building the superstructure or external walls of a building. They are ideal materials for the construction of other walls throughout the dwelling and can be used for the following wall applications
External cavity walls
Celcon blocks are used extensively in the construction of inner and outer leaves of cavity external walls. With their combination of strength, resistance to moisture ingress and thermal insulation, Celcon blocks are able to offer construction solutions for most forms of buildings, which are both value-engineered and free from technical risk. For the load-bearing inner leaf, there is a choice of strengths. In two-storey housing, Standard and Solar blocks are generally more than adequate to meet the structural requirements. For multi-storey construction or walls or piers under high vertical loads, Celcon Hi-Strength blocks may be required. Because these blocks also have excellent thermal properties, less secondary insulation will be required.

External Solid walls
As an alternative, the aircrete solid wall is becoming increasingly more popular. Replacing the two leaves with one single block it is a simple construction, which is fast to build and can provide a good solution for Building Regulation compliance.
Celcon blocks are not confined to building the superstructure or external walls of a building. They are ideal materials for the construction of other walls throughout the dwelling. For the construction of solid external walls, the designer may choose from a range of strengths. In two-storey housing, the Solar range is generally more than adequate. For walls or piers under high vertical loads, or large infill panel walls which are likely to be subjected to high wind loading, higher strength Celcon blocks may be more appropriate.

Separating walls
The solutions provided by Celcon blockwork for separating party wall constructions and associated flanking walls are based on a combination of sound tests carried out on properties over a period of 30 years, as well as approved laboratory tests. Agrément certificates for Celcon products confirm that the constructions listed below comply with Building Regulations, and are recognised by NHBC and other approved inspectorates.

Internal Partition walls
Using Celcon blockwork in internal partition walls significantly improves sound insulation within a building, particularly when used in combination with beam-and-block flooring.
