Since launching our first Tweet-to-win competition earlier this year, #wheresbeaniebeen has gone from strength to strength.
The beanie competition started off as a fun way of engaging with our customers online offering them the chance to win £50 each month. Since then we have expanded the idea to include our Facebook page, point of sale campaign and we ran a similar competition in popular industry magazine Professional Builder.
As part of POS campaign with independent builders merchants, Parkers, we designed and made a 6ft builder character, fondly named Benny, to go to several different branches of Parkers up and down the country. The results have been amazing and builders have been sending us their snaps from various branches.
If you would like to get your hands on your own beanie, email us at: email@example.com or message us on Facebook or Twitter. All you have to do is Tweet, email or Facebook post a picture of your beanie with the hashtag #wheresbeaniebeen and a location. The prize will be offered to the most imaginative and fun pictures at the end of the month.
We are now receiving hundreds of beanie requests and selfies from all over the country and we don’t expect it to slow down any time soon.
