Reporting directly to the Sales, Marketing & Technical Director, the successful applicant's Key Expectations will be:

  • Ability to lead, inspire and motivate a high performing sales and key account management team 
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • A strategic mindset that understands supply chain and its challenges as well as the high/low demand trading cycle of the construction industry 
  • Established standing in the private house building sector, where experience of presenting market data relating to trends and customer performance, internally and externally, is paramount. 
  • Agility and professionalism in quick decision making is a key aspect of the role
  • A National role, where there is an expectation for face-to-face meetings when appropriate and or requested 
  • Being able to work and partner across all departments is key to the success of this role 
  • Evolving the current approach and focus of the team will form part of the role, via PIPs, in line with H+H guidelines
  • The candidate will work with and support the Sales, Technical and Marketing Director in developing customer and employee development programs in addition to presenting regular feedback relating to market trends, customer forecasts and medium to long term business plans.
