Job Title: Marketing Communications Manager
Reporting to: Sales, Marketing and Technical Director
Location: Borough Green


Role Overview:

A support role within the Marketing Department.  The role reports to the Sales, Marketing  and Technical Director and will be part of an established and highly successful sales, marketing and technical team. The Role will work closely with and support the Head of Marketing to improve overall confidence and skills in branding, communications and marketing. The role will function as an operational support as it continues to grow within a highly evolved and influential department. Working closely with both UK and International partners to ensure the timely execution of strategic and operational activities, helping to implement processes, policies and using the correct Marcomms tools to ensure continued success.

The Role is expected to collaborate on key business projects, helping to improve and de-risk the organisation : on projects such as, but not limited to:

  • Campaign on  Behaviours
  • Campaign on Purpose and Promise integration
  • Websites and Social media
  • Sustainability

As an effective partner to the marketing department the role will be  an operational deliverer and will perform their duties with the help of others. This will be done by fostering an open dialogue, motivating, and encouraging strong morale and spirit in the team, as well as by understanding the strategic direction of the company and their role within it.

  • Experience in internal/professional coms and experience of using social media
  • Solid Understanding of  the latest media/communication platforms
  • Aware of how to Working closely with all departments to ensure news, updates, initiatives and new starters are captured and recorded
  • Understanding of website platforms and CMS systems
  • Awareness of the importance of Working closely to ensure the company photo library is kept up to date.  New images are recorded and catalogued and suppliers given access to company libraries as required 
  • Previous experience working in a Marketing/Digital/comms role, ideally associated with the construction industry
  • Creative mindset of how to best target campaigns
  • Good command of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as other pertinent computer packages 
  • Ensure accuracy of copy and design produced for the marketing department Able to produce well thought out sales and company support materials and presentations
  • Support all aspects of campaign set-up and fulfilment
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, technical and HR colleagues to deliver successful engagement activities
  • Office based 3days p/w
