H+H is delighted to announce that we are sponsoring the inaugural Builders Merchants Journal (BMJ) Industry Awards. The ceremony will be held on Friday 18 May 2018 at a prestigious venue in London.

The awards are designed to recognise the building industry’s best people, merchants and brands. Unlike most traditional industry awards, the new BMJ awards will be voted on by the entire industry via a secure online portal rather than a selected judging panel.

BMJ Editor-in-chief Fiona Russell Horne said: ‘In the 100 years we have been at the forefront of publishing to the merchanting industry, we have learned that the most important part of any industry is the people and the brands that they promote. The aim of the BMJ Industry Awards is to reflect the massive pool of talent we have out there, celebrating the brands, names and businesses that keep the merchant sector thriving’.

As a company that actively promotes long-term partnership with its merchant customers, H+H is always keen to reflect schemes that support and publicise excellence in the sector.

A total of 21 awards across three categories will be up for grabs and H+H is sponsoring the Industry Personality award. Nominations for the awards can be submitted online at http://bmjindustryawards.co.uk/enter-nominate/. Nominations will close on 23 February 2018 and entries which meet the relevant criteria will proceed to the voting stage.

Online voting will open on 12 March and the five entries with the most votes in each category by 13 April will become finalists. The winners will be the entries which have received the most votes overall and will be announced at the awards ceremony on 18 May.
