The Construction Products Regulations (CPR) has been in force in the UK since 1st July 2013. This requires manufacturers to create a Declaration of Performance (DoP) and apply CE marking to all of their products which are covered by a harmonised European standard (hEN) or European Technical Assessment (ETA). H+H UK's products are covered by European Standards and details are given on the appropriate Declaration of Performance, CE Mark & Certificate of Conformity of the Factory Production Control.
H+H UK masonry units are available in different formats in each grade. To determine the appropriate CE Mark read the product description code from our packs. The thickness of the product is also given on the packaging. The factory production control for all H+H UK Ltd aircrete blocks has been assessed by the BBA, our Notified Body, and the Certificate of Conformity can be downloaded from the table below.
The grade of the material is also clearly stated on the packaging of our products and there is also a 3 lettered code followed by a number. The Code (SRC100 for example) also describes the grade and type and gives the unit thickness. Having taken the description and first letter of the code from the packaging, click on the appropriate grade in the table below to download the appropriate documents.
Also, in keeping with Government advice, a full archive of both CE and DoP certificates is also available on this page and can be downloaded from the table below.
Following the UK’s exit from the European Union, the CPR has been retained in UK law but amended by the EU Exit regulations. The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) mark is the new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland) and replaces the CE mark. It covers most goods which previously required the CE marking and H+H Aircrete is included within these parameters. The new rules will apply from 1st January 2021, although products placed on the market until 31 December 2021 may still carry CE marking to allow for transition.
H+H UK products will adhere to the new UKCA regulations and the new certification will be available on this page on or before 1st January 2022. The UKCA certificates will contain both UKCA mark and DoP on a single document for each product, identified by the code as described previously (eg SRC100).
The factory production control will continue to be assessed by the BBA, with their status changing from Notified Body to UK Approved Body for the purposes of UKCA (the Certificate of Conformity can be downloaded from this table once the information is live).
