H+H Sponsors Top Industry Sustainability Award

H+H is sponsoring this year’s Construction News ‘Sustainable Project of the Year’ Award. These awards are the biggest in the industry and are highly coveted. The ceremony this year will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 11 July 2019.

The ‘Sustainable Project of the Year’ category aims to recognise the projects which have demonstrated the highest commitment to environmental sustainability throughout the entire project lifecycle as well as evidencing how they have minimised their environmental impact during both construction and post-occupancy.

The winner of this year’s award will be announced at the ceremony on 11 July. A shortlist of finalists will be whittled down by an expert panel of judges.

As the UK’s largest manufacturer of aircrete, H+H is committed to minimising its carbon footprint as much as possible, from producing less than 1% wastage from our new state of the art factory to reducing transport miles for our products. We put this into practice in many different ways, for example many of our products can be cut to size on site, allowing offcuts to be “recycled” and therefore reduce wastage.

H+H would like to wish all of the shortlisted finalists good luck in the awards!
