H+H UK Ltd has been shortlisted in the Heritage category of the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2025.
The awards, organised by Made in Britain, celebrate the very best of British manufacturing across five categories: Sustainability, Innovation, Exports, Manufacturing Impact, and Heritage. The Heritage Award recognises companies with over 50 years of operation, showcasing stories of innovation, adaptation, and long-term success.
With roots dating back to the founding of Celcon Limited in 1949, H+H has been at the forefront of aircrete innovation in the UK for more than 75 years. From its first factory built in Grays, Essex in 1958 to today’s three modern manufacturing plants in Kent and Yorkshire, H+H has helped transform the way new homes are built. Its Celcon Blocks are now used in around one in four new houses built in the UK every year.
Jenny Smith-Andrews, Head of Marketing at H+H UK Ltd, said: “We’re proud to have been recognised in the Heritage category of the Made in Britain Impact Awards. For more than seven decades, H+H has been committed to providing high-quality, sustainable aircrete solutions that support the UK housebuilding industry. Being shortlisted is a testament to our heritage, our people, and our long-standing relationships within the sector.”
The winners of the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2025 will be announced at a celebratory event in Worcester on 5 November 2025.
