Building Solutions Manager

Location: Home based with extensive travel (Covering North & areas of the Midlands)


Join H+H, a leader in the construction industry! We're looking for a talented Building Solutions Manager to be fundamental in driving continuous sales and market growth for Celcon Vertical Wall Panels (CVWP) and aircrete solutions. This role is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and market growth for Celcon Vertical Wall Panels.
  • Target house builders using Modern Methods of Construction and promote the benefits of aircrete solutions.
  • Focus on both Private and Social Housing builders, including Volume Housebuilders.
  • Target large Housing Associations with self-build capabilities.
  • Engage with key decision-makers and maintain client relationships.
  • Ensure project quotes are returned and followed up, and monitor sales pipelines.
  • Incorporate H+H UK’s innovations and new products into the building package.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of all customer contacts via the current call reporting system.
  • Prepare monthly reports highlighting key activities, meetings, new orders won, and market trends.
  • Keep an up-to-date sales pipeline in the CRM system to monitor win rates and potential future volume.
  • Ensure activity and performance align with KPI expectations set by the Head of Building Solutions.
  • Monitor and control personal costs within budget requirements, e.g. entertaining & travel expenses.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Building Solutions department by supporting team goals and initiatives.
     

About You:

  • Educated to degree level in Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in the construction industry in a business solutions role.
  • Management certification, e.g. Level 4/5 ILM, CMI Team or Management/Leadership or willingness to work towards.
  • A good technical understanding of Part L (Conservation of Fuel & Power) and Part E (Resistance to the Passage of Sound) of the building regulations, together with Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and sustainability issues.
  • A proven ability to present and liaise with customers and contacts at all levels of the decision-making process.
  • The ability to identify new market sectors and customers for MMC aircrete solutions, ensuring sustained volume growth across all areas of opportunity.
