IT Support Analyst
Location: Pollington, East Yorkshire
Join H+H, a leader in the construction industry! We're looking for a talented IT Support Analyst to provide effective technical support and maintenance of our IT systems. The main purpose of the role is to ensure delivery of reliable, secure and efficient services to users across the organisation, in the UK & Northern Europe.
This role is permanent, full time, Monday to Friday 08:00am – 16:00pm (week 1) and 09:00am – 17:00pm (week 2).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for IT incidents and service requests across hardware, software, and systems.
Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner in line with agreed service levels.
Maintain ownership of incidents through to resolution, engaging with third parties where required.
- Support, maintain, and optimise end-user devices, operating systems, and business applications, including Microsoft 365 tools.
- Assist in the administration and support of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based services.
- Provide first-line support and guidance for approved AI-enabled tools, ensuring users understand safe, responsible and policy compliant use
- Contribute to system monitoring, maintenance, patching, and upgrades to ensure service reliability.
- Support cyber security awareness initiatives, campaigns and develop user training materials.
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues, applying structured problem-solving approaches.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and the prevention of recurring incidents.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT services, processes, and user experience.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand issues and provide clear technical guidance.
- Build positive working relationships across the organisation and within the IT team.
- Share knowledge and provide support to colleagues where appropriate.
- Contribute to IT projects, system implementations, and service improvements.
- Support testing, deployment, and documentation of new systems and changes.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and system changes.
- Produce and update technical documentation and knowledge articles.
- Support compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection requirements.
About You:
- Possess a solid secondary education (English and Maths are essential)
- Higher education qualification is required (e.g. NHD, HNC, NVQ, A-LEVEL or equivalent)
- Proven experience in IT Support roles, demonstrating hands-on skills in hardware and software maintenance
- Ability to communicate at a variety of levels and with diverse groups
- Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to independently conduct research into PC issues and products, and efficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issue
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Apps, Power Automate or the wider Microsoft Power Platform
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
