Shift Production Leader

Location: Pollington, East Yorkshire

Are you ready to be a vital part of a dynamic production team? We're seeking a dynamic Shift Production Leader to oversee our production shift, ensure smooth operations, and drive continuous improvement. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you!

The current shift pattern follows a 4-on, 4-off rotation, structured as:

  • 2 consecutive day shifts
  • Followed by 2 consecutive night shifts
  • Then 4 days off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate production teams.
  • Achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Monitor and improve production processes.
  • Ensure smooth operations and providing immediate support during plant breakdowns.
  • Evaluate and propose efficiency improvements for machinery, products, and processes.
  • Manage team performance issues through first-line performance management.

About You:

  • Experience in production leadership.
  • Strong communication and team management skills - Entry-level management certification (e.g., Level 2 ILM, CMI Team Leader/Supervisor) or currently working towards certification.
  • Commitment to health and safety - IOSH-certified Health and Safety qualification, NEBOSH preferred.
  • Entry-level management certification (e.g., Level 2 ILM, CMI Team Leader/Supervisor) or currently working towards certification.
