Due to an internal promotion, we are now seeking a talented professional to join our UK business as the UK Procurement Lead. The recruitment process will be overseen and managed by our external recruitment partner, bpesearch.

Role:

As the UK Procurement Lead at H+H, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the procurement strategy to ensure the seamless supply of top-tier raw materials for our concrete block manufacturing. You'll lead from the front, collaborating closely with a spirited team to optimise costs, while forging strong supplier alliances, and contributing to the overall success of H+H.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with business objectives. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address procurement needs. Monitor and stay ahead of market trends, assess supplier performance, and mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Be a key player in H+H's journey towards sustainable practices.

Qualifications:

We’re on the lookout for a procurement professional with a track record of leadership, preferably within the manufacturing or construction industry. Your skill set should include strong negotiation skills, excellent leadership and team management capabilities, and a strategic mindset aimed at achieving business objectives. A deep understanding of procurement nuances and best practices, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements is essential.

Location:

This is a site-based role, with the incumbent spending time across Sevenoaks, Kent and Pollington, South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to be based at either location.
