Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Pollington, East Riding of Yorkshire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist on production shifts, providing prompt support during plant breakdowns.
  • Achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
  • Oversee the operation of plant and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
  • Monitor production metrics, analyse data, and report findings to management.
  • Ensure consistent quality by monitoring production output and rejecting items that fail to meet standards.
  • Evaluate and propose efficiency improvements for machinery, products, and pro-cesses.
  • Actively participate in business improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
  • Update the daily SIOPs report and validate operator performance against SOP.

 

About You:

  • Experience in production leadership.
  • Strong communication and team management skills - Entry-level management certification (e.g., Level 2 ILM,
  • CMI Team Leader/Supervisor), or currently working towards certification.
  • Commitment to health and safety - IOSH-certified Health and Safety qualification, NEBOSH preferred.
  • Entry-level management certification (e.g., Level 2 ILM, CMI Team Leader/Supervisor), or currently working towards certification.
