H+H Finalist at 2011 Building Awards

H+H has been shortlisted in the Manufacturer of the Year category at this year’s Building Awards. The Awards are judged on a company’s innovation, industry commitment and sustainability credentials and recognise the top performers from the last year.

Jenny Smith-Andrews, Marketing Communications Manager at H+H said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this prestigious award as it recognises our ongoing commitment to both sustainability and innovation. We reduced our carbon footprint by 7% last year, continued researching new construction methods to meet the low carbon challenge and our technical team devoted large amounts of time to industry working groups above their call of duty.”

All the award finalists learn their fate at a gala dinner hosted in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. Those in attendance will make up a who’s who of senior level directors and chief executives from across the construction sector.

“H+H represents UK manufacturing at its very best, developing successful, productive and efficient products and doing all they can to remain focused and competitive in order to keep the industry flourishing,” said Ian Pateman, Manufacturing Specialist - Manufacturing Advisory Service South East.
